Bloggiesta – Sept 28th-30th
The first exciting event coming up is this year’s Bloggiesta, which is basically a blog improvement party. Lots of bloggers write mini-challenges and articles with tips and tricks for other bloggers. If you’re interested in meeting new people and doing some work on your blog, you can sign up here.

Blogfest, occurring the same weekend as Bloggiesta, is a book blog giveaway extravaganza. Each blogger involved links to the next blogger’s giveaway, giving readers lots of fun prizes and bloggers lots of new visitors. Sign ups for Blogfest are here.
Dewey’s Read-a-Thon – October 13th
Despite the name, this isn’t my event and I’m not sure I’d actually enjoy reading through 24 hours of sleep deprivation. However, I expect I’ll at least try part of it and in case you’re excited by the idea, sign ups are here.
