I think the many member of the Cayuga Nature Photography group that focus on birds must be rubbing off on me. Plus this seems to be a great place for them, even just at home and at school

Happy Friday all! I hope you’re still enjoying spring as much as I am, because I am loving being able to get outside for photography so much

Today I have some images from my first outing with the Cayuga Nature Photo Club. Actually, that’s a lie because I forgot to charge my battery and had to go back later! But I did find this beautiful location because of the photo club and I had a lot of fun talking to people and seeing the different pictures we all got at the same location. Hopefully with this beautiful weather, we’ll be having more photography outings soon

Spring! It’s spring! I’m loving the beautiful weather, the birds, the flowers, and of course the ability to go outside and take pictures without freezing. These are some of my pictures for the Cayuga Nature Photographers Club this week, since the theme for the month was “transitions from winter to spring.” I’m excited for our flower photography outing tomorrow and hope to get even more spring pictures

Phew, things are finally slowing done from the rush of moving followed by midterms and projects due. Definitely planning on getting out and taking some more pictures today and hoping next week I’ll be out taking pictures a lot. These are some flowers the boy got me and I really enjoyed taking pictures of them. I think I want to try doing more still life images, because I liked being able to move everything to get the best shot, but also found it challenging and think I could have taken advantage of that more. So practice is definitely in order

I’m so excited! In our new apartment, we have two blue jays who regularly come and sit on our porch while visiting our neighbor’s feeder. By waiting with my camera strategically aligned, I finally managed to get a nice sharp picture of this one sitting still. I think I could still get a better one though, if I took a vertical instead of cropping, so I’ll definitely keep trying.
