This week the Monday Musings question from Should Be Reading is the following: Do you read the ending before you start a book? Do you ever skip ahead to read the ending?
Are you insane? I can’t even read books in a series out of order, much less read a book in the wrong order. I often try to find out if a book has a happy ending before I start so if it doesn’t, I at least know what I’m getting myself into, but I never skip ahead.
Do you ever read the ending of a book before you’re finished? I promise I’m not judging, I just can’t imagine it fitting with my reading style

It depends for me. But I have been known to read the last few pages, only if the book is taking longer than I like… but with a kindle it is not that easy to do or I should say I am less tempted to. What can I say I am unpredictable when it comes to my reading style. Blessings – Patty
Yep, although I love the kindle for traveling, being able to move around in the book easily is only one of the many reasons I will always love physical books more
me too, but I like the all the books I can download for free!
Wish I could’ve joined in Monday so I’ll answer here: I always need to check if a book has a happy ending (hate sad endings) or if it has a huge cliffhanger (hate cliffhangers) before I read it. So if reviews won’t tell me, then I’ll check myself. Great question!

It’s possible I should do the same! I don’t like to know details of the ending in advance, but a sad ending can really ruin an otherwise good book for me.
